AHHH.....I am falling behind. If I don't write this now then I won't get to it until Camille is 17 months. Camille is learning a ton. Like, can copy pretty much anything I say or do. She is no longer my baby, she is my toddler. She just chatters away and is so so active. She loves to be outside, which is really unfortunate recently because it has been raining every day for the last two weeks practically.
A couple really cute things that Camille is saying "Hokey Pokey". It is just so cute. We love the hokey pokey! She says too much to keep track of now, but we also love to hear her say, "Blanket, chair, shirt, socks, pants, bear, book, and love you."
Camille will pretty much put anything on her head and call it a hat. Her blanket, a fork, a wipe, a teddy bear, just give her anything and it can be turned into a hat.
Camille is a professional block stacker. She can get at least 6-8 blocks stacked. She loves building towers, and knocking them over. She knocks it over and says, "oh no", like -how in the world did that happen I was just sitting here minding my own business then it fell over- then she stacks them back up and does it all over again.
Camille loves animals. When we take walks she loves looking at the dogs and cats around the neighborhood. When we go to the zoo, she loves the animals there too. She loves books with animals in them, and toy animals. She will say, "Animal?" all day long. She just loves animals.
We love you Camille. You are growing up right before our eyes. I can hardly believe it. My little baby is now an independent, toddler! Love you!

Camille- 4 Months
I cannot believe it has been 4 months already. Camille is so happy most of the time. We went to her check up today, and she was awesome. She was so happy until she got her shots. After we snuggled she calmed down and we came home and she is now asleep. She weighed 14 pounds 10 ounces, she was 25 inches long, and her head was 17 inches. She is in the 63 percentile for weight, 77th percentile for height, and 98 percentile for head circumference. Ha ha..she has such a big head. She is so cute.
Camille likes to be held so much more now. She likes to see the world and what is going on around her. She likes to have things on her head and covering her eyes. Last week she started rolling over from her back to her tummy. For some reason she will roll over to her tummy, and she has forgotten how to roll back to her back. She tries to crawl, and she gets grumpy and starts crying. So I roll her over onto her back, and she rolls right back onto her tummy and gets grumpy again.
Camille is still not sleeping through the night. She wakes up about 3 times a night. One night she only woke up once, and it was AMAZING! I am looking forward to that day. For now, I still wake up with her and feed her or rock her to sleep. I need to be better at learning to teach her to sleep, but I just want to pick her up and rock her. So that is what I do for now.
We love you so much Camille and we can't wait to see you growing up and learning new things.

We were exploring the flowers, and Camille got pollen all over her face. Even after I wiped it off, her face was still yellow. |

Songs for Camille
I just want to record some of these songs. As a new parent, I find myself singing weird little rhymes to Camille all the time. The first one I sing is at bath time.
We love bath time yes we do,
We love bath time, How about you?
Bath time is the very best,
It makes us clean when we are a mess.
Wonderful right? Ha ha. I don't know any of the other real bath songs out there, maybe a line or two, so I had to make up my own. The other song is just one I randomly sing during the day when things get a little quiet.
My little Camille is so very cute,
I like when you smile, but not when you toot.
I love my little girl so much. Even though I am slightly weirder than I was before, we have so much fun so it is okay.

Big Changes
We are so excited to announce that we are pregnant again!!! Just Kidding! Way too early for that again! My hormones would not make it through. But we are excited to announce that we are new home owners! Yay! At the end of last year Kevin was interviewing for all kinds of jobs all over the place, and we were ready to move to North Dakota if that is what was right, but we never did. None of the jobs felt right for us, and when Kevin was flying back from one of the interviews, he landed in Idaho Falls and just decided he never wanted to leave again. Now that is not to say that we won't ever move. Obviously we will do whatever the Lord has in store for us, but right now we plan on staying in Idaho Falls for the rest of our lives. The house is so cute and so perfect for our family.
We moved in during the end of April. Now every time I come to our home I can't imagine us living anywhere else. I need to get some pictures taken, but I am a procrastinator and haven't really taken any yet.
Kevin also got a job here in Idaho Falls. It is at the Idaho Innovation Center. It helps businesses start up and get on their feet. It is not Kevin's favorite job, but it lets him be home every night and he hardly drives truck any more which is nice for me and Camille. We love that he is home every night and that we can do some fun home improvement jobs and hang out and have dinner every night.
Last but not least, I just need to record this story. In March I was down in Utah preparing for my beautiful sister's wedding. Kevin was driving truck but he was passing through Lehi. I was staying at Shantel's house that night and so I was going to go see Kevin in the truck. He didn't have enough hours to come back with me, but it was nice to see him. We talked and ate Samoa cookies (Kevin knows those are my favorite). I was driving Shantel's car, and on the way back to her house I was trying to make the lights work correctly. Kevin had mentioned when I pulled up to the semi truck that the front head light was out. As I was trying to figure out the lights, I passed a cop and he pulled me over. He pulled me over because I was playing with my lights and he wanted to know what was going on. I told him my whole story about going to see Kevin and him telling me the light was burnt out. After telling him my story he asked if I was drunk! Ha ha. He said he could smell alcohol on my breath (is that why samoa cookies are so addictive?). I promised him I wasn't, but he almost had me take a breathalizer test. I was just laughing about the fact that he thought I was drunk. He let me go, and just told me to have Shantel fix the light. It was such a great story to tell. I just had to write it down so I don't forget it!

Philo Farnsworth
Do you know how Philo Farnsworth is? Even if you don't, I bet you use what he invented almost everyday. Philo invented the TV, and do you know where he invented it at? Rigby Idaho! That is right. He was an Idahoan. There is a museum called the Philo Farnsworth museum in Rigby. I have wanted to go to it ever since my first semester at BYU-Idaho. Do you think I ever went? Of course not.
The other day, Kevin and I were driving through Rigby. We wanted to stop in and say hello to his sister and brother-in-law, but as we stalked their house, all the cars were gone. As we turned the corner we drove past the Philo Farnsworth museum. I told Kevin how I have always wanted to go there, so he turned into the parking lot and we went.
To tell you the truth, I was very disappointed about this museum. I am one that usually loves museums, but this one was weird. There was one little display about the TV and Philo, and the rest was just a lot of old stuff from the different cities and most of it didn't even make sense. There were some fun things to go look at, but most of it was really weird, and they didn't have good descriptions about what you were looking at. I left feeling really sad, because I always thought I would take Camille there, but it turns out that I probably wont.
Even though it was a really odd museum, and I learned nothing about the TV, it was still a fun little adventure that I had with my sweet husband and adorable little girl.
