5 Months

I am so sad, I just had this whole post finished, but I have left it up too long, and I just lost it all because it would refresh. I am going to forget some of the cute things Camille does.

Well this month Camille has been awesome. The day she turned 5 months old she slept through the whole night. It hasn't happened since, and I don't expect it to happen all the time but it was awesome. She usually just wakes up once during the night. It has been so nice to get some sleep.

Camille loves the color purple. She loves to play with her diaper box that is purple, and her wipes case that is purple, and just anything that is purple. It really attracts her for some reason. I placed in front of her, the purple wipes case and her cute pink dog, and she kept just playing with the wipes.

She has found her toes recently. It is so cute! She has started sucking on them trying to figure out what they are. She is just the most darling girl.

Camille has learned how to roll over any way she wants and starting to scoot. I will put her to bed lying on her back, and when I come to get her, I never know how I will find her. She rolls onto her tummy and turns sideways. She is just too cute.

She went down a slide for the first time this last month. Shantel said that she had wider eyes than usual. I think she enjoyed it as much as any 5 month old can.

We went swimming with Shannon and Collen's Family at Rigby Lake. It was a lot of fun. Camille didn't love the water. I think it was because it was really cold, but she looked too cute in her swimming suit not to have a good day.

I just love being this girls mom. She is so cute and so sweet. I cannot wait to see what next month holds for us. Maybe even some crawling!

Family for a Week

I love visiting my family. It is probably one of my favorite things to do. Kevin went out to New Orleans for a week on work business. He went to a conference and said it was really boring, so we are not going to talk about his trip. He flew out of Salt Lake City, so we went down and I dropped him off on Monday, then I went to Shantel's house. It was so enjoyable. We ran errands and just hung out most of the time, but it was just nice to be with them. We were able to go to the farm with Lydia and Shantel. It was so fun to watch Lydia run around and show us all of the different animals. We saw a goat that was so pregnant. I was so happy that I was not the pregnant goat, and that I don't look like the pregnant goat when I am pregnant.

We also took a nice ride in a horse drawn carriage.

Look how cute we are. Riding in a little carriage.

On Thursday Kevin flew back into Salt Lake. He had to go back up to Idaho Falls to get his CDL physical, so I thought that he had to rush up to Brigham City to catch a ride with his cousins up to Idaho Falls, but they ended not going up. So instead we went to temple square and City Creek Mall. I have never been to the City Creek Mall. It was fun to walk around and be with Kevin, especially after not seeing him in what felt like forever.

After walking around, we went to my parents house. We got up there, and then Kevin found a ride back up to Idaho Falls with another Doug Andrus Driver, so we had to rush back down to Ogden so he could catch a ride up. I went back to my parents house after he left, and hung out for several more days.

On Friday Jacob graduated for High School! YAY!! We went down to Ogden for the graduation. It was actually really great. My favorite talk was given by one of the students. She used lines from popular songs, and strung them together to make sentences. It was fun to listen to.

After the graduation we grabbed some pizza and headed home. We hung out for the rest of the day. The next day we celebrated my dad's birthday. He wasn't feeling very well, so we didn't really do anything too great. I felt bad, but he was sick. We had brownies and played games and we got my dad some batteries for his drill. Now he can build all sorts of things! Everyone left that night, and it was just my grandparents and me.

We hung out on Sunday with my parents. Camille just loves her grandparents. She was so happy the whole time. My mom played the cutest game with Camille. She would push her nose and say "beep beep", then Camille would laugh, look away, then turn back towards my mom and they would do it all over again. It was so cute.

On Monday Kevin drove a truck down to Salt Lake. Then I went and picked him up. We drove back up to Idaho Falls and hung out for the rest of the day.

It was such a nice week being with family and letting Camille get to know her family better.
