Fun Five- Shaylee, House wishing, Paul, One Month

1. I have the best husband. The last two days he has made me breakfast and taken care of Camille early in the morning so I can have a little extra time to sleep. He is seriously the best ever. I am so grateful for him.

2. We found our dream house. Practically our dream house anyway. It was even in our price range. It has a walk out basement, a nice game room, it was on an acre of land, and it even had a HUGE shop (that is what Kevin really loved). We were so excited. We wanted to buy it. But when we called, someone has already put an offer down. We are so sad that we can't buy it. It was fun to dream. Someday we will buy a house, but probably not anytime soon. It is a good thing that we love the apartment we are living in currently.

3. We went over to Paul this last weekend and visited Kevin's parents so that they could meet Camille. It was so fun to see them. Camille is so lucky to have such great Grandparents. Camille did a super great job at traveling to Paul. We loved seeing family.

4. Camille turned one month old this last week. She is getting so old. She is staying awake more often and usually is not too grumpy. She still is eating, sleeping, and pooping a lot. We just love her so much though. She is growing up so fast. It is a good thing she is so cute!

5. Shaylee came up to Rexburg this last weekend, and while she was there, she came down and visited us. Shaylee is just the best. It was so thoughtful of her to drive all the way down to Idaho Falls just to come and talk with us for a couple of hours. (we are pretty lame still, so we just stay home all the time). I am so grateful for the good friends that I have and who are always there for me.

First Trip Together

Camille and I took our first grocery trip to Walmart today all by ourselves. We have been with Kevin before, but we finally went by ourselves. This has been one of my big fears. How do you leave the house with a baby that could poop or cry or scream or anything. I have been terrified about leaving the house. We did it though. Camille was such a trooper. She sleeps a lot in her car seat, so that helps. I am just feeling so blessed to have such an awesome baby.

Fun Five- Grapples, Newborn Pictures, Semi Truck Sold

1. Kevin and I took a little outing with Camille to go to Walmart. We had one diaper left, and only a couple of wipes. That is a recipe for a disaster. As we were walking around getting the basics of what we needed, we saw a bag of apples in the produce, but on the bag it said Grapples. Kevin's cousin Jordon had told us about Grapples before, and so we had to buy them so that we could try them. In case you are wondering, Grapples are apples that taste like grapes. I am not exactly sure how they did it. We brought them home and ate them for lunch. They were surprisingly delicious. It was fun to try something new and have a little adventure of our own.

2. I am seriously so blessed. I have the best husband in the world. Kevin had to go back to work so he can support Camille and I. I am so grateful that he works so hard that I can be a stay at home mom. But when he is driving truck, it can get hard for me, and now with a new baby I was so scared. Not to mention my hormones are crazy currently, I cry at pretty much everything. Kevin wanted to be home more too, so he worked out his schedule so that he can be home for most nights out of the week. I am so grateful that he willingly changed his schedule so that he can be with us more. I am grateful that I have a husband that provides so well and that cares so much for me and my emotions, along with our new baby girl. He really is the most amazing man.

3. I took Camille to her 2 week appointment. She gained a whole pound and is still the same length. She is super healthy and doing well. I hope she continues to grow and stay as healthy as possible.

4. We got pictures taken of Camille. She is so beautiful. I feel like we have been a little bit of procrastinators because the recommended time to get newborn pictures is 7-10 days. We ended up getting them at almost 3 weeks. Camille still did great and was a trooper. We got the pictures for free from someone up at BYU-Idaho who is trying to build their portfolio, and she was awesome. I really liked her a lot. Some of her backgrounds kind of clashed with Camille's clothes, but it was still okay. I am just happy to get some pictures taken of her.

5. We sold Kevin's truck. It was kind of a hassle, but it is sold. I am relieved currently because we were not driving it. Kevin is kind of sad, because he loved that truck. I think someday we will buy another truck, but we will not drive through another company, we would just make our own company and run everything. Long story short, we sold it and we are happy.
