I have been such a slacker. Here is a quick update on the past..several weeks.
1. We were able to go and celebrate Collen's (Kevin's sister's husband) birthday. Shannon is such an awesome wife. She made this cute little game about Collen and we all had to take it. Some of the questions were pretty hard. But I tied for first place with Aimee. Shannon had rounded up some prizes, which were fun. We had to reach our hand into a bag and pull one out. I won a rag that hooks onto the stove. I love it! It is Christmas themed which is so nice because we have no Christmas decorations. Kevin came in last, and he won a candle. The scent is Bamboo. Shannon thinks that it stinks, but Kevin likes it, so it was a win-win.
After we had cake and ice cream. It was such a fun time celebrating with them. I love living close to family.
2.On 11/19/2013 Kevin and I were laying in bed trying to fall asleep. All of a sudden, I felt our babies first hiccups. I told Kevin that she had the hiccups and he didn't believe me, but it is amazing that you can feel them. They are just little movements that come every couple seconds or so. Kevin put his hand on my belly and felt them. It was so fun being able to feel her hiccup. I still haven't felt her hiccup too often, but when I do, I think it is pretty fun.
3. Kevin had to take a test for his Economic Capstone Class. In this class, there is a test that Kevin has to take. It is HUGE! In the class, the test is worth practically 70% of his grade. If he fails the test, essentially he fails the class. This test does not only cover things that they learn in this class, but it is a test that covers everything that you should have learned the past several years while studying economics, plus a little more. It is a really big test.
Kevin took the test this past Monday, and he rocked it. He is so smart and amazing! Plus, I am so glad that he passed because now he can graduate from college and we can go get a job and start our real lives.
4. Just for records sake, we were offered the Job in Portland. We are excited to get a job offer, even if it is so far away from family. We are still waiting to hear from a couple other options that we have, but we are excited that Kevin interviewed so well and that they want him to come work for him.
5. Kevin went and interviewed with a company in Salt Lake City. We would love to live there, and the job would be really good experience for Kevin. We hope to hear back from them this week and schedule a third interview for the week after. One cool thing about this job is that back in the good ol' days, Kevin's Grandpa worked for this same company. Isn't that cool? It would be fun to say that Kevin worked at the same company his Grandpa did.

Thanksgiving- Walker and Haderlie
I have not been in a great blogging mood recently, these big posts intimidate me. So mostly this is me just blabbering about what happened in no specific order.
This year I was able to have two Thanksgivings. At first I went down to Morgan the weekend before Thanksgiving.
My dad and I went grocery shopping and we were sent to find pies. We were really disappointed in the pie selection. We went to at least 3 different grocery stores and the only pies they had were pumpkin (and maybe one apple) but they definitely did not have any sugar free pies (for my grandpa and Blake). So after much desperation I just decided that I would make the pies. That night we got home and I opened the pre-made crust because making crust and getting a good crust is kind of hard. I made two pumpkin pies, a blueberry pie, and an apple pie. The apple pie was my pride and joy. Every year we can apples, and I took those apples and turned them into pie filling, and it was pretty delicious. Everyone super loved the blueberry pie. It made me laugh, because Shantel and Kevin both thought it was the best blueberry pie they had ever eaten. But all I did was take the Pillsbury pie crust, put two cans of blueberry pie filling inside the crust then covered the top with another layer of Pillsbury pie crust. Everything was just bought. It made me laugh.
Also, my dad thought that sweet potatoes and yams were the same thing. I just want to let everyone know, that I do not really know the difference between them, but I know they are different. When we got home my dad looked it up, and found out that sweet potatoes and yams are totally different, like Wheat and Corn. I felt very smart.
Then on Thanksgiving we got up and started making all of the food. We had all of our family there (minus Kevin and Matt), and then my Grandma and Grandpa Knowles and Walker were there. It was so fun to see grandparents. I do not make it to their houses often enough.
After our Thanksgiving dinner we went to Jacob's play that he was in. He did so great. He is such a great singer and actor. The play was Thoroughly Modern Millie. It was fun to go watch him. Jacob played the Boss that Millie was trying to fall in love with.
We also celebrated my Mom's birthday. She is such an amazing person. I just love her and admire her so much. It was fun to celebrate her and her life.
On the real Thanksgiving, Kevin and I went to American Falls to celebrate with all of Kevin's family. Kevin's extended family is so large. They held Thanksgiving in the church house. They had so much food!
We all sat down and ate Thanksgiving, then all of Kevin's aunts played some musical numbers. (Kevin's whole family is amazing at the piano, especially his aunts!) They played so many fun music pieces. After the music, Kevin's brother Steven recited the night before Christmas for everyone. There is more to that story than I ever remember.
After the program most of the kids and men started playing two ball (lightning) there are many names for this game. But it was a basketball game. Kevin did so good, except there were these twin girls who were probably 13 and they constantly got him (and everyone else) out. They were really good. It was really fun to watch every play these games. They must have played at least 100 rounds of this game. Kevin wouldn't let me play since I was pregnant, so I just watched.
It is so fun to be able to spend so much time with family, and we are so blessed that so far we have lived close to both of our families. I am so thankful for family and the joy that we can receive from them. I cannot wait to start my own little family with Kevin.

Fun Five- Birthday, Star Valley, Portland, and Flowers
I changed my name of this post again. Spontaneous is too long, and now I am writing little reminders about what happened during that week or so because currently I had 20 Spontaneous fives, but I had no idea what was in them. So I hope you now enjoy the fun five. My disclaimer is the things written in fun five may not always be fun, but it is a short and sweet title, so enjoy!
1. I love that we live so close to family. We were able to go to Kevin's cousin Jordon's birthday party. Aimee made the most delicious pie and we had ice cream and played bang. We now LOVE the game bang. We are going to have to get it soon.
2. Kevin is the best husband for me. I was not having a great week a couple weeks ago, and Kevin just spoiled me. We had a date night where we went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner.
After dinner we went and walked around the mall. Window shopping is really probably one of my favorite things to do. I love to just walk around holding Kevin's hand and looking at things. It can be clothes, toys, food, museums, pretty much anything. I just love to look at things. It was such a wonderful night. I am so spoiled.
I am especially spoiled because that same weekend we went to Star Valley. The day was beautiful and Kevin said, lets go to Jackson (we ended up changing our destination). We headed on our way and it was so beautiful outside. I didn't even fall asleep on the way there. When we got there, we drove past the house that he grew up in, and he showed me where some of his childhood memories were ( the bus driving lady who was in a lot of crashes, where he won the state title for BMX when he was younger, his two story church house, and many more). It is always fun to be able to hear stories about Kevin's childhood, mostly because he was a crazy child.
After touring we decided we were going to go eat at Rulon's Burger Barn. Rulon was an Olympic wrestler from Star Valley. When he came home from the Olympics, he started up this restaurant. We were excited to go there. We finally found it, and it was closed. They only served ice cream. It was totally lame.
Since we could eat there, we went to a little cafe called Hegg's. It was pretty good. Kevin said his burger was so so delicious.
After eating we went and saw our friends Tom and Jessica and their little baby Ryker. It was so fun to see them. We then headed home. The drive home was wonderful also, but I did end up putting the seat down and closing my eyes. It was such a wonderful day though.
3. I have been watching what not to wear this past week. It has made me want to go shopping. So I went shopping in my closet. Last year for Christmas, Melissa bought me this shirt and necklace. It was so so so cute, but every single time I tried to wear it, it looked funny on me. But since watching what not to wear, I thought that I should wear it with a belt. it now looks SO cute. It is now probably one of my favorite shirts now. I am so excited to wear it again.
4. Kevin finally had his interview in Portland. They flew him out, got him a rental car, and a hotel. Kevin interviewed Monday afternoon. He ended up interviewing for 4 hours. I think that is such a long time to interview for. He said that the interviews went well. He has another interview with them over the phone next week.
5.Kevin went to get some ingredients for dinner. When he came home he had these beautiful poted flowers. Kevin is so sweet to me. I am so grateful that Kevin does the little things for me. The little things mean the world to me.
6. Just to put on the record, I cannot really see my toes anymore. My belly is getting pretty bit. My belly button is now popping halfway out. It is kind of fun, but a little weird. I haven't ever had a belly button that pokes out (except when i was first born).

Spontaneous Five- Halloween, Hospital, Shoes and Soup
1. I had to get my glucose screening test to see if I had gestational diabetes. I haven't been particularly looking forward to this, but I wasn't scared either. I went in around 9 AM because you have to be fasting. I had to be admitted to the hospital, and then I went to the Lab and they had to draw three vials of blood. After that they gave me a drink to drink. I was given the Lemon Lime flavor. I have heard people compare it to soda, and that is what I would compare the first two sips to. After the first two sips I started getting sick. It no longer tasted like delicious soda.After that I had to slowly sip the drink. If I didn't do it slowly, it was going to come back up fast (if you know what I mean). I finally got it down and had to wait an hour. In one hour the Lab people came and got me. They drew one more vial of blood from my other arm. Then I went back into the waiting room and waited for another hour. After that hour was finished they drew one more vial of blood from the first arm.
I couldn't believe I had already been poked by 3 needles and I hadn't even had breakfast yet. I am a big breakfast fan if you are wondering. After I finished the glucose test I went down to labor and delivery. The nurses there had to give me a shot. Yes, another poke with a needle. The reason I needed this shot was because I have O negative blood. This is a blessing and a curse. A blessing for others, because I like to donate blood and anyone can use my blood (it is universal), but a curse for me because I HAVE to have O negative blood if I ever needed a transfusion or something of that sort. Also, now that I am pregnant and every time I get pregnant after this, I will have to get this shot. We are not sure what Kevin's blood type is, but it isn't worth the risk.
Since I have O negative blood, if the baby's blood type is positive (from Kevin) then my blood can attack her blood, or something like that. My body will not accept what is going on, so I have to get this shot. (I believe that is the reason why).
After four pokes and 4 hours without breakfast, I was finally able to come home and eat.
3. Kevin went to the store to pick up a couple of things. When he came home, he brought in some of the cutest little girl shoes. Kevin is so excited for our little baby. She is so lucky to have such a loving dad who is already buying her shoes. I love the Kevin think about our little girl.
When he came home from the store he told me he is so grateful for my mom who has been buying us some used clothes and getting really good deals, because this is the first time he has realized that baby clothes are so expensive and they only wear them for a couple months. We are so grateful for the clothes we have received from those around us.
4. Last night (11.01.13) my sister-in-law Charity was so kind. She had made dinner, had some extras and sent it home with Kevin for us to eat. (Kevin had been over motorbiking with Michael). This was such a blessing in my life. Work was crazy yesterday and I was so exhausted by the time I got home. I still had dishes to do, laundry to fold from last week, and the thought of making dinner was making me sad. It was such a tender mercy that Charity would think of us and send us over some dinner. I am so grateful for the family that I grew up in and the family I married into.
5.On Saturday (1/02/2013) we watched Oz, for our date night. It was kind of different, but it was still pretty good. I love that we can have little date nights in. I made some caramel popcorn (you can't get that at the theater). Kevin is so weird. He doesn't like caramel popcorn. He doesn't hate it, but whenever I make it, he hardly eats any. So now I have a HUGE bowl of caramel popcorn that I have to eat by myself.

2. Kevin and I didn't do much for Halloween this year, but I wanted to celebrate at least a little. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I love dressing up, I love candy, and I love seeing other people dressing up. So instead of doing anything crazy, we stayed at home. I had found a cute idea on pinterest to make cute little mummy dogs (like pigs in a blanket). So for dinner we made those. Lets just say everything on Pinterest looks better than what I could make. Even though they didn't turn out super cute, they were still delicious and we have a good time celebrating Halloween.

3. Kevin went to the store to pick up a couple of things. When he came home, he brought in some of the cutest little girl shoes. Kevin is so excited for our little baby. She is so lucky to have such a loving dad who is already buying her shoes. I love the Kevin think about our little girl.

Haderlie Halloween Party
This last Saturday we were able to go down to Logan and celebrate Kevin's mom's birthday. We started our trip down to Logan in the mid afternoon. We got to Logan and went and got some Aggie's Ice Cream. My sweet sister-in-law Shannon gave me a gift certificate for the ice cream, and we figured we probably wouldn't be back down to Logan for a while so we got it. I got the "True Aggie" flavor, which was vanilla ice cream with chocolate hearts filled with a raspberry filling and had a raspberry swirl. It was very very delicious. Kevin got the 'Blue Mint" flavor. That is a classic, but it is super delicious!
After ice cream we went to Jenny's house (Kevin's sister), and changed into our costumes. I forgot to mention that this party for Kevin's Mom was a dress up Halloween party. Our nieces and nephews were so funny when we got to Jenny's house. They were all dressed up awesomely. We had a pirate (with a super legit costume), a man in disguise, a tinker bell, a gypsy, and a cute little lady bug. Kevin and I dressed up as a construction worker and his sign. Very cliche, but it was fast and fun!
The party consisted of homemade root beer and chili and chips with tons of desserts. Pat (Kevin's mom) read a fun Halloween story that had some musical instruments involved . Diane wrote this story for Pat's music class she is teaching. It is so cute and fun!
After the story we talked and ate and caught up with everyone. Everyone had to travel home, so it didn't last too late into the night. We were the last people to leave Steven's house. It was really fun and we enjoyed seeing the Haderlie family (especially since Diane and Steve traveled over from Minnesota to visit!)

Pumpkin Carving and Cars
Pumpkin Carving is one of Kevin and my favorite family traditions. Every year my family and the Oliver family get together and eat delicious soup and carve pumpkins. This is one of the first year of many many many years that we have not carved pumpkins with at least one member of the Olive family. We missed them, but it was still fun.
Saturday morning Kevin and I went car shopping in Salt Lake. We saw a car that we liked on KSL and so we went to look at it. We drove it around, took it to a auto parts store to run some tests on it, then we went back to the dealer and bought it. It is an Audi car. I am not sure which model, but it does have a turbo. Kevin loves Audi cars. This one has some nice snow tires on it, which will be so nice once it snows, because Kevin will still be commuting to school. I love it because it has heated seats. I love heated seats. It is a stick shift, black, and has a sun roof. That is about as much as I know about this car, but I think we will have it for a while because Kevin really does love this car.
After we bought the car we drove back to Morgan. By this time Shantel, David, and Lydia were up in Morgan and they had made some delicious food. I love eating good food. There was cheese balls, taco chip dip,and 7 layer bean dip. I ate way too much food on this trip, but I am pregnant, I have an excuse right? No, I don't have an excuse, but I still did it.
In the early afternoon we decided to play some games. It was really fun because we decided to play the older games in the closet. My parents have had some games since before I can remember, and I am surprised we had not lost every piece of the games, but we have never really played them. So we played the game whatzit, and can you beat Jeff (or Matt, or someone...I can't remember the name). Whatzit was so fun! I can't wait to play again. Can you beat Jeff, well that was a different story. We ended up making our own rules which made the game so much more fun! We kicked Jeff off the board, and made some new rules.
After playing some games and eating more food, we made dinner and started carving pumpkins. By this time it was 8 at night. We didn't finish carving pumpkins until about 10. We were all so tired after. It ended up being a lot of fun. This was the finished product of everyone's pumpkins.

Can you beat Jeff, well that was a different story. We ended up making our own rules which made the game so much more fun! We kicked Jeff off the board, and made some new rules.
After playing some games and eating more food, we made dinner and started carving pumpkins. By this time it was 8 at night. We didn't finish carving pumpkins until about 10. We were all so tired after. It ended up being a lot of fun. This was the finished product of everyone's pumpkins.

Spontaneous Six- 2nd interview, Birthing Class, Jaelle, Sewing, and Fixing Cars
1. Kevin had his second interview over the phone today (10/24/13) for this job located in Portland. Kevin is so amazing. He said it didn't go as smoothly as he had hoped that it would, mostly because the guy giving the interview didn't seem to interact or care very much about the interview, so it was hard for Kevin to keep a conversation going with him. In the end, they asked if Kevin would be interested in doing a 3rd interview. Of course he said yes (we really are just looking for almost any job). So sometime in the next couple of months they are going to fly Kevin out to Portland for the third interview. I am so proud of Kevin. He is so great, even this company can see it!
2. Yesterday (10/23/13) I convinced Kevin to go to a birthing type class. It is for the next three Wednesdays at the hospital from 7-9:30. I mostly wanted to go to this class for Kevin, because he is not too familiar with the pregnancy and birthing process, but I ended up learning a lot from it too. It was kind of weird because so far we have mostly just watched movies (that are 20 years old) and asked questions, but I am hoping that we will learn some breathing/relaxation techniques as well. She showed us the epidural needle. To be honest it is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Every time I hear someone talking about the epidural needle, they say it is SO huge. Since I have heard that so many times, I had this picture in my head that the needle was 1 foot long and the width of a pea (comparable to a drinking straw). It is not that big for those of you who have not seen them. We also saw a little suction vacuum thing. It was kind of funny. The lady showed us this thing that monitors the baby during labor. This device screws into the top of the baby's head. Like screws under the skin of the baby. I think it is so weird. She said that the doctor that I am seeing uses this on every single pregnancy he delivers. I do not love my doctor. I think we will have moved before I deliver though, so I am thinking he will not be the one delivering my baby. I am excited to go to the rest of the classes, even though they are kind of long.
3. I just got off the phone with one of my best friends, Jaelle. This has just been one of the greatest things this week. Jaelle and I were in the same 1st grade class, our teacher was Ms. Jordan. (she was the best teacher) but from that day forward, we were just automatic best friends. I always wanted to be exactly like Jaelle. She was/is so outgoing and happy and just herself. She makes everyone around her smile and feel comfortable. One time, I think in 5th grade, we had a sleepover because her parents were out of town, and we decided to wear the same outfit to school (I am sure I had that idea because I wanted to be exactly like her). That same sleepover, we thought it would be a good idea to put the spare key to her house under my porcelain doll's dress. I think I found it there several months later when I was cleaning. One time we decided to go into our back yard (which was a field) and make a fort that was underground. We had such great plans. We were going to take some extra wood from my dad, and put it over this hole and cover it up so that no one would be able to find it. We only dug for one day, but we made a pretty big hole (considering we were probably only in 5th or 6th grade). When I showed my dad he was so impressed, but after we never finished our project, he couldn't find the dirt because we had spread it everywhere and didn't make one big pile. The hole stayed in the field until we moved...I am sure it is still in the field. I have so many fond memories of Jaelle. I am so grateful for our friendship, and even though we don't talk very often, it is nice to know that she is still out there making someone happy and being herself.
4. I have been so blessed in my life. Before I was married (and even still) my dad always check the oil in my car, fixed everything that went wrong. There were multiple times that I would call my dad and tell him that the car was making a funny noise. He would have me describe it. After I tried to make a noise and just sounding silly, my dad would have a good idea of what was going on with my car. He is amazing!
Now that I am married, I am not home as often, but I have been so blessed because Kevin is such a handyman. This morning (10/26/13) Kevin woke up and headed out to fix my car. My front light has been out and Kevin thought that the brake needed changed. He tore everything apart and found out that my brake is fine, but he fixed the light. It is so nice to be taken care of.
If it were not for these two men in my life, I am sure my car would be ruined. I would have my engine seizing from not changing the oil or something. I am so grateful that my dad and Kevin have been able to fix my car and take care of me. I am so grateful for them.
5.This morning (10/26/13) Kevin asked me to fix a couple of his clothes. He has this super ugly, ratty, shirt that has huge holes in the elbows. He only wears it when he goes snowmobiling. So this morning I cut the sleeves up to the elbows and hemmed them up. The shirt now looks pretty good. Kevin is going to be so excited when he sees it.
For Christmas last year, I got some clips for Kevin's shirt stays. If you don't know what shirt stays are, they are these elastic type things that you hook one part to the bottom of your dress shirt, and the other part to the top of your socks. They make it so that when you raise your hands, your shirt stays tucked in. Hence the name shirt stays. Kevin loves them. The part that hooks onto your socks and been starting to slip so I got some new clips and sewed them onto the elastic so that they will stay better. I only had gray thread instead of the black that matched the elastic, so they kind of look poorly done, but no one will see them. It is nice that I finally finished Kevin's Christmas present from last year!
6. Last night (10/25/13) we went out to dinner with Kevin's cousins. We went to chuck a rama. I have so many memories there from when my Grandma and Grandpa Walker would take us out to dinner. I think growing up, every time we ate there, my brother Matthew would throw up because he would eat too much. That is the curse of buffets. Don't worry, now he is older he can portion control a little better.
Long story short, it was really nice to see his cousins Aimee, Andy, their son Logan, and Aimee's brother Jordon. I love when we get to spend time with family, and it is always an added bonus when we get to eat good food.
